Fees
As our group is a network of affiliated providers, Kairos therapists set their own fees. They are not financially accountable to each other, and are not employees of Kairos, or one another. Each therapist at Kairos is an independent practitioner, and solely responsible for his or her psychotherapy practice.
Kairos therapists are committed to helping clients to find feasible access to therapy, so that cost is not a barrier for anyone needing services. If standard, out-of-pocket fees are out of reach, clients may negotiate with their therapist to see if a reduced fee may be possible.
Currently, none of our therapists take insurance, or submit claims. However, clients may pursue out-of-network coverage from their insurance company, by requesting receipts for services to submit to their carriers. Licensed therapists at Kairos are considered Out-of-Network (OON) providers. If one’s insurance offers partial reimbursement for Out-of-Network mental or behavioral health services, the client must first call their insurance company to ensure they are clear on the particulars of their particular plan. Certain plans require first meeting a high deductible; and others may not offer coverage for counseling services.
